It all started  in 1984 with  Slipper a super little liver chestnut colt that was bred by my sister Billie and myself. Slipper was by Diablo Tewsun out of a non QH mare but had most of the Quarter Horse characteristics. From that day on I was smitten with the QH bug.

In 1986 I met Roger and he too fell in love with the breed. Since then we have been fortunate enough to own and breed a small but select band of Quarter Horses.

These are some of  the pure and part-bred QH's that we have been lucky enough to have in our lives:

Slipper (Diablo Tewsun x Golden Oriole  part T/B). Home bred.

Molly the Roo at a Huntingdon Quarter Horse Race day. She was ridden by Sheila Whelan and come in 2nd by a head. Roo was bred by The Lord Baden -Powell and was by Tumbleweed Tophand x Molly Mayflower.

She bred 5 gorgeous foals for us before going to live wih Linda McCaig in Scotland.

Roo was our foundation mare, an excellent all rounder. She woud race one week then go on a sponsored ride the next. Another day she would stand quietly in a training clinic for 2-3 hours without complaint.

Slipper's Jaguar (Sierra Harmony x Molly The Roo) aka Jake. Sheila Whelan is the handler. Home bred.

Cruisins Topsicana (Arabis Cruisin Pine x Johnstur Topsicana) aka Fennel. She was bred by Sheila Whelan

Fennel is seen here in training with Bruce Lawrence.

Molly Mossflower waiting to go to her new home with Val Wattam in 2003.

She is by Arabis Cruisin Pine x Molly the Roo. Home bred.
